A note from the organizer, Sheryl Haugland:

Ladies, I want to invite you to be a part of a new prayer group I am starting. I have recently become a chapter leader for an organization called CWA, Concerned Women for America. CWA is the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with a history of over 30 years and a mission to bring Biblical principles into all levels of public policy. 

They exist to protect and promote Biblical values and Constitutional principles through prayer, education and advocacy. CWA focuses on 7 core issues which they have determined need Biblical principles most: 

• Sanctity of life 
• Defense of family 
• Education 
• Religious liberty 
• National Sovereignty 
• Sexual Exploitation 
• Support for Israel 

This main purpose of this prayer group is…..TO PRAY!! Our country needs prayer in so many areas. When we come together as a group of ladies with a goal and a purpose to pray for our country, miracles start to happen. As the word of God says, “righteousness exalts a nation”, Proverbs 13:24. 

The kick-off breakfast for this group will be held at my home in Burnsville. We will enjoy breakfast, learn more about CWA and America’s issues, pray as a group, and have fellowship time. The goal is to meet once a month. You do not need to commit to every month, but please attend as many times as you are able! There will be new goals and issues to pray about every month.
