This upcoming event features the story of Ray Pinson, founder of OPIN Systems, a company as intent on transforming the marketplace as it is about producing innovative software solutions.

Ray Pinson has worked in the software industry for nearly 50 years. He was the sole “techy” at a small startup in the early 70s, which would grow into United HealthGroup, now the largest health care company in the United States. In 1987, he branched out from United to found his own software company, OPIN Systems, which over the years has led the charge in health informatics technology. Today he still owns a small software company, dedicated to the philosophy of turning the hearts of managers to their employees and the hearts of employees to their managers. 

Ray also spends a significant amount of time with the stock market, and mentoring up-and-coming investors in wealth management. His heart is to encourage the real manifestation of the Kingdom of God in the hearts of His children, and to help them find the way forward in their personal journeys of healing, healthy relationships and positive impact on their chosen “nation”. At OPIN Systems, he worked with Kevin and the rest of their team to develop a seminary for upcoming marketplace ministers called MAP (Marketplace Apprenticeship Program), which mentored young college grads in business success.

 Ray splits his time between sunny Florida and Minnesota, where his wife Kathy, 2 sons, and 5 grandchildren live. In addition to his work in the software business and investing, Ray is active as a chairman of the board for Ed Silvoso’s Transform Our World ministry, chairman of the Pinson Family Foundation, and Ambassador to the USA for the global Unashamedly Ethical organization, headquartered in Cape Town, SA. In his free time, Ray enjoys SCUBA diving, reading science fiction, travelling, and long chats with friends.
